Hey Scott, there was an interesting piece in today’s Charlotte newspaper. “Earnings at Lowe’s drop 24% in quarter”. What also was stated was previous quarters earnings.

4Q - $408m
1Q 2008 - $607m
2Q - $938m

Looks like Lowe’s has been on a roller coaster for a while!

thanks Tom for that info, they are not looking bad though and are handling this economy better than their chief rival Home Depot.

I worked in the trades for five years and I’m always wanting to learn something new. Great idea for a site!
