I have a question for you. About a month ago I spilled some gas in the trunk of my car. Since then the car has had a very strong smell of gas. Do you know of any way I can get rid of that smell?
Tom, that is a difficult question because I have never had that kind of a problem before. My first thought would be to open all of the windows and the trunk and see if you can just air it out. Assuming that you have done that already, my second thought is and I am assuming that you have carpet in the trunk on this one, the carpeting will need to come out to be cleaned. Have you looked to see if this is possible? If you can get it out you, can probably just wash it down with a hose. Too bad that I am not closer, I have a steam cleaner for carpet that would probably help. Unfortunately, I really do not know of any commercial products to help in that kind of situation.
